What?

 Last week Oaklands school had a multicultural week where we celebrated the amazing range of cultures we have here.
So What?

This is my flag and poster of SCOTLAND









  The reason we did is because it is part of multicultural week.
Another reason is because we need to celebrate other peoples cultures. 
Each class had three people come in.
Room 24 had Julia Kim, Mrs Banoori and Mrs Mann

 .

Now What?
We are going to be learning more about the different cultures in Room 24 this term, including healthy snacks.

The eels swam along the fence and into an eel weir and the Europeans removed these so they could sail their boats. How did they cook them? A hāngi is a traditional way of maori cooking (also called earth oven) What are the different species? There are 2 different eels native to New Zealand The Shortfin Eel and The Longfin Eel How nutritious are they to eat? Eels are good for you as they contain very good vitamins and minerals.
